The College App Studio was founded by Tiana Dixon after she navigated the admissions process with her own children. Drawing on a twenty-year career in public relations, she views a college application as a creative portfolio that requires an authentic narrative and a clear strategic voice. Tiana helps students identify their goals and find colleges with the right social, academic and financial fit. 

Tiana earned a Certificate in College Counseling with Distinction from UCLA Extension.  Her approach is informed by her experience during a hands-on practicum working with students in the Pacific Northwest. She has served as an external application reader for Santa Clara University, where she gained a deep appreciation for what makes a candidate truly stand out to admissions committees.

When not mentoring students, she enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with her husband, their three college-aged children, and her cat, Luna.
